Angelina’s Hopes For Her Children

ANGELINA JOLIE may come from a Hollywood family - not only is her father, Jon Voight, an Oscar-winning actor, but her mother, Marcheline Bertrand, was also an actress and producer - but it would seem that neither she nor husband Brad Pitt are keen for their children to pursue the family business.
"I hope not!" she exclaimed when asked whether her children have caught the acting bug, in an interview with NBC news. "Brad and I always said if they're going to be actors I hope they do something, and then become actors."
Four of Jolie's six children have small parts in her new film, Kung Fu Panda 3. Pax, 12, Zahara, 10, Shiloh, nine, and Knox, seven, all star alongside their mother, who resumes her role as Tigress for the third instalment of the franchise, while youngest daughter Vivienne already appeared alongside her mother in 2014's Maleficent

Despite her hesitancy over their budding acting careers, she couldn't help but be impressed by her children's professional work ethic. "What I think was so sweet about it was that they took it very seriously," Jolie said. "They came in and they said, 'I don't know if I can do this!' They really took it seriously as a job."
That might have something to do with the fact that, despite their young age, her children have already been following Jolie's professional career, R-rated movies and all. When swapping parenting stories with co-star Jack Black, Jolie revealed to People, "You think the kids know nothing, and then you find out they're like, 'Oh yeah, seen it.' That happened like four years ago."
