Adele's Record-Breaking Week

ADELE  is no stranger to breaking records, but the latest milestone is one to note: her video for  Hello, released from her third studio album,  25, has notched up one billion views in just 87 days on YouTube.

The previous record holder was Psy, who reached the magic number in 158 days back in 2014 for the single  Gangnam Style, while YouTube has revealed that only 17 music videos have reached the one-billion-views mark. "If anyone deserves it, it's Adele and that song," said its head of original programming, Susanne Daniels, yesterday.

But that's not the only thing that the star will be celebrating this week. Forbes has included the hit maker in its inaugural  30 Under 30 European line-up, which charts "300 of the top young leaders, creative inventors and brash entrepreneurs in 10 different sectors" - and she's in good company.

Other  stars to appear in the list include actresses  Emma Watson,  Emilia Clarke,  Alicia Vikander  and  Florence Welch, while Simone Rocha,  Sadie Williams,  Delfina Delettrez, Chiara Ferragni and Grace Wales Bonner  represent the fashion industry.
